The Volkswagen Golf R has always been Europe’s answer to take on the Subaru STI or Mitsubishi EVO. Where those 2 cars have faded in succession, the MK8 Golf R is still around and delivering some serious performance. With its high tech interior, DSG transmission, and 2.0L turbocharged engine delivering 315hp, its no wonder people are still huge fans of these cars. This particular car came to us to be outfitted with a set of the VR Forged D09 1pc forged monoblock wheels. Specifically designed for the Golf and Audi S3 platform, these wheels are a 18×8.5 +44mm offset with a 5×112 bolt pattern. The classic mesh design is a great fitment giving the Golf R a more flush look compared to the tucked and taller 19 inch wheels.
