It has been 21 years since the Supra was last sold in America, but the sports icon is now back in all of its glory. In designing the all-new Toyota Supra A90 (MKV), the Japanese automaker paid extra special attention to the MKIV generation – arguably the most famous and beloved of all previous models. The resurrected legend boasts a striking design, world-class performance, comfortable ride quality, and an overall driver-centric focus. The stock 19-inch forged twin-spoke wheels, however, could use a bit of an upgrade for those looking for a bolder aesthetic to further stand out. That’s where the VR D03-R forged monoblock wheels come in.
The A90 Supra spotlighted in the gallery below sits on 20×9.5 D03-Rs at the front and 20×11 at the rear. The wheels are finished in a beautiful Satin Bronze finish which goes well with the Supra’s Nitro Yellow exterior color. These 20-inch wheels have a +43 offset with a 66.6 center bore and 5×112 bolt pattern. They weigh 11.5 kilograms (25.3 pounds) and have a load rating of 690 kilograms (1521.1 pounds). Ideally, you should pair these wheels with 265/30/20 front tires and 295/30/20 rear tires.
The D03-R one-piece wheels feature a design that is similar to the VR D03 wheel but with a very motorsports-inspired ring. Manufactured using a 10,000-ton press, these wheels are incredibly durable with a solid forged construction that is more resistant to corrosion and oxidation. This wheel is perfectly matched to any “tuner” style vehicle – perfect for the Supra.
