And if that wasn’t enough, this customer of ours took that to the next level and turned their Porsche Cayenne into an overland beast.

The Porsche Cayenne has actually become an increasingly accessible and popular platform for enthusiasts looking to build out their dream off-road rig. It seems that this customer started the transformation with additional equipment like a modular roof rack, rear tire carrier, and LED auxiliary lights. They also looked to VR Forged for a fresh set of forged monoblock wheels to really give this Cayenne that aggressive off-road look. Wheels can really make or break a build and it’s not hard to see that this customer chose the perfect style to compliment this project.

The VR Forged D07 one-piece wheels are incredibly strong, yet remain lightweight compared to standard cast wheels. Porsche 997 GT3 Twin Turbo with 1300HP on Custom VR Forged Wheels

There is no doubting that the Porsche 997 GT3 is a beauty and a beast straight from the factory. Even so, a fresh set of wheels can really elevate the car’s unique DNA and set it apart from the pack. Our customer Todd Nall (IG: @blackhorseturbo) was looking for a fresh wheel setup for his own 997 GT3 and opted for custom VR Forged D03 wheels in a stunning Satin Bronze finish. The bronze color really contrasts the bright Guards Red Porsche paint beautifully and gives it that track-inspired feel.

The D03 VR Forged monoblock wheel features a one-piece forged construction that showcases a sultry, thin-spoke design with our signature V accent around the lug pattern. The detailed machine work near the center of the wheel draws your eye and turns it outward to the elegance of the slender spoke design. These lightweight forged wheels were manufactured using a 10,000-ton press, so you can rely on them to be incredibly strong for those more spirited driving events. These custom forged wheels have the knurling done on the bead seats so you won’t experience any issues with spinning tires on the rim.

We crafted custom 19-inch D03 wheels for Todd: 19×8.5 +45mm (9.5 kg or 20.9 lbs) at the front and 19×12 +63mm (11 kg or 24.2 lbs) at the rear. We also made him 18×12 (10 kg or 22.0 lbs) rear wheels for his drag tires for when he is competing in half-mile or roll racing events. The overall weight savings is a really good amount when you compare it to the OEM 19-inch wheels on the Porsche GT3, and that certainly helps a lot too. For reference, the stock wheels on the Porsche 997 GT3 are 19×8.5 (24 lbs. 5 oz.) and 19×12 (30 lbs 13 oz.).

And if you look closely at the D03 wheels on his 997 GT3, you’ll notice we engraved the word “BlackHorseTurbo” on it for Todd. That has been his nickname for years in the Porsche world dating all the way back to 2007. Black Horse is the neighborhood he lived in in Texas and “turbo” comes from him having owned a 996 Turbo. Arctic White C8 Corvette Lowered on VR Forged D01 Wheels

The C8 Corvette is Chevrolet’s supercar-killer, offering exotic-level performance with a sports car price tag. It’s a true work of art with sharp body lines, advanced aerodynamics, and thrilling performance. Compared to previous generations, the eight-gen features better handling and responsiveness, more even weight distribution, greater visibility, improved engine cooling, and superior performance. Although the engine is now located behind the passenger compartment, it remains a 6.2-liter V8, albeit one that delivers 490 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. With the dual-mode performance exhaust that comes with the optional Z51 package, it makes 495 horses.

All that power means that you’ll surely be going places with the C8, and fast. And with that, you will definitely want some sweet wheels to give your ‘Vette a more customized look. Our customer chose the new VR Forged D01 monoblock wheels for his C8 Corvette and it’s safe to say that this was a match made in heaven. The car was first lowered on a set of VR Performance Front Lowering Collars, which gives it a more aggressive look. C8 models with the factory front lift kit have a ride height that needs to be lowered in order to achieve that bold stance that the Z51 cars have without the nose lift. Since the rear is already adjustable from the factory, VR came up with lowering collars for the front to even out the look.

After lowering his C8, this customer knew that a fresh set of wheels would really enhance the overall look of this build. The D01 forged monoblock wheels are ideal for sports cars like the Corvette because they are not only stylish but also incredibly lightweight and durable. The D01s feature an enthralling design with several “V” elements all around and spot-on machine work that shows the strict attention to detail paid to these wheels. It’s a unique design that really compliments the bold lines and angles of the C8 body. And the durable, sleek matte black finish looks great against the high-gloss Arctic White factory paint job.

For reference, this Corvette C8 sits on 20×9.5 +38mm 5×120 D01 wheels at the front and 21×12.5 +58mm 5×120 wheels at the rear. The front wheels weigh 11.4 kilograms (25.1 pounds) and the rear wheels are 13.9 kilograms (30.6 pounds). Each D01 forged wheel has a load rating of up to 690 kilograms (1521 pounds). Recommended tire size for this set is 255/30/20 and 325/25/21, respectively.
