The Honda Civic Type R featured here may not need much to stand out, what with its gorgeous Boost Blue Pearl paint. But even so, the owner opted for a wheel upgrade and treated it to a set of VR Forged D09 monoblock wheels. The VR Forged D09 wheel features a solid one-piece construction with a very traditional mesh motorsports-inspired design. These wheels are perfectly suited to any luxury coupe or sedan, as well as sport compact vehicles to accentuate their natural DNA. It has eight split Y spokes all around with lightweight pockets and machining for a wheel that checks all the boxes. Manufactured using a 10,000-ton press, the VR Forged D09 wheels are incredibly strong and durable to last you for the long run.
This customer’s Type R was fitted to 18×9.5 D09s all around with a +45 offset, 64.1 center bore, and 5×120 bolt pattern. Each wheel weighs just 10 kilograms (22 pounds) and has a load rating of up to 690 kilograms (1521 pounds). Recommended tire fitment for this setup is 255/35/18. The D09s are available in Gloss White, Hyper Black, Matte Black, and Satin Bronze. The owner of this stunning blue Type R opted for the Satin Bronze finish to really give his hatchback that accented look and Rally-inspired appeal.
