Ford, America’s truck leader, unveiled a true off-road icon back in 2009 when it revealed the desert racing-inspired F-150 Raptor. Unlike the conventional 4-wheeler, the Ford F-150 Raptor is equipped to take on even the most punishing terrain. Not only is it able to tackle and withstand even the harshest of lands and elements, but the Raptor makes it look easy. To top that off, Ford confidently says that the latest Raptor is the most off-road capable and connected model to date. A truck that boasts as much brawn as the Raptor deserves the very best footwear with which to do its job and look good doing so.
The new Raptor offers three different 17-inch wheels are available, two with Beadlock capability – all designed for maximum strength and great looks. Even with those options, they don’t quite measure up to the truck’s off-road and race-inspired DNA and, frankly, they are boring. The Raptor below is sporting the six-lug wheel which has a six-spoke design. The five-lug wheel, however, features a five-spoke design.
The Ford Raptor featured in this gallery is D02 wheels in 20×9 with a +12 offset, 87.1 center bore, and 6×135 bolt pattern. The stunning and durable matte black finish contrasts the factory Race Red paint job flawlessly and really gives it that added off-road appeal. Each wheel weighs in at 13.5 kilograms (29.7 pounds) and has an impressive load rating of up to 2500 kilograms (5511 pounds). Recommended tire size for this set is 37 or 35 inches, the former of which may require some lift and cutting.
